A Special Message from Tony Trupiano
from: http://www.whiterosesociety.org/Trupiano.html

This is not a goodbye. Hardly! As I begin my journey to capture the
Congressional seat in Michigan's 11th District, I leave you with a
purpose-filled heart and a determination you have helped to me to cultivate.
Our many hours spent together have given me the strength and vision to make
a difference, and I plan to do just that. Come November of 2006 Tony
Trupiano will be elected to Congress and come January of 2007, a new
revolution begins for the all American's, not just some. I take this
journey with my eyes wide open and my purpose clear. The battle for America
is worth the fight.

I will need the help of all of you from all over the world. My relationship
with so many of you because of this amazing community brings me great
comfort and support. As I have announced my decision to leave my radio
program, many of you from all corners of the globe have written well wishes
and empowering thoughts. Keep them coming...I will need them. Feel free to
continue to send your hopes and thoughts to me at tony@thetonyshow.com. We
will be sure to keep connected.

I want to thank Ben Burch for his caring support of my career. His guidance
and counsel on issues that matter, and his ongoing love of the First
Amendment and truth are unmatched. I cherish this great man and ask you to
support him both financially and professionally. Let the world know the
power of www.whiterosesociety.org.

So, here I go. Glad you're with me for the ride. We deserve to win and we
will!

I'm new to this blog, but I would like to wish you well.
My wish for the election of 2006 would be that democrats win all seats, and Big.

Again Good Luck!

Sorry your guy didn't make it. If his district and Dingell's were better balanced, both of them could have been elected, instead of Dingell not even having an opponent! Gerrymandering can concentrate all the progressive (or all the conservative) votes into an ideological ghetto, thus in effect diluting the value of those votes in local races. (In my state legislative districts here in Milwaukee, Republicans often don't bother to run; but that means that the districts further out in the county have more Republicans concentrated in them.)
